Animation Creations

This week in our ICT lecture we were asked to create animations using the software 2simple 2animate. The reason for doing this is to enhance communication with others. I found this enjoyable and very interesting, it gave me an insight into how cartoons are made. I will add my animation to my blog to show what I have created.
Also within the lecture we created a delicious account to mark our favourite websites so that we can easily axcess at a later date for our assignments.
Finally within the lecture we discussed the changes in education through time. To present our information to the rest of the class we used our WIKIs.

Wiki Fever

Within lectures we have started creating our own wikis. Initially I had no idea what a wiki was, after watching the video supplied by Mandy within the lecture it made things alot more clear. Thank god!
Within our group we were given Education in five years time as our subject to create our wiki on. We struggled with this topic as there isnt going to be much change within the next five years.... we had to use our imagination and own opinions alot when doing this. I personally looked at the changes in the way education will change overall, looking at preminitions of change within the economy, which would hopefully lead to more teaching jobs.... hopefully being the key word!
I also illistrated the fact I think technoglogy will develop even more within the classroom, for example reading to be done using tablets, like Kindles.
We struggled with this as there is a lack of information to be found about predicted changes in education in the near future. Hopefully we can add to the wiki over time when we come across new information.

Project Slight Change

Initially I had decided to give my poject the title of Vanity.... after researching beauty in different cultures and what problems beauty can cause within modern day society, I have decided it would be more accurate to title my project "Beauty in different Cultures" this will incl the problems, such as eating disorders, low self-esteem, celebirty culture.

Beauty is portrayed in the media in many way and in this video it shows some problems "ideal beauty" can cause.  This video gave me the idea to incorporate eating disorders into my project.

I saw this on TV and found it astonishing what women will go through to achieve what is seen to be beautfiul within their tribe.  This has fuelled my idea for my project.  Also I have found more information to include in my project regarding this on the following link;

Chosen Project Idea!

I have chosen to do my project on Vanity!
I have chosen this subject as its a topic of interest and seems very relevant to our everyday lives.  I did my presentation in class on plastic surgery and this all links in.  I wanted to expand on my knowledge of the subject and find out exactly what people will go through to be "beautiful".

Im so excited about getting started on this!
